The only way to send and receive Bitcoin is through a Bitcoin wallet. A Bitcoin wallet is a digital storage space that allows you to hold or spend your Bitcoin. A “wallet” is basically the Bitcoin digital equivalent of a bank account; It allows you to receive bitcoins, store them, and then send them to others. Every wallet has a unique wallet address that is specific to your wallet. Most wallets are stored on your device and connected to the internet/bitcoin network.
Never share your private wallet key with anyone and never send funds from the ATM to a wallet you don’t own. Both of these can result in you losing all your bitcoin.
You can use any bitcoin wallet app and there are many to chose from but The National Bitcoin ATM recommends Exodus wallet app. It works on Android, Apple and desktops computers. Click here to download the Exodus app.
