Before learning how to create a digital wallet on an iOS device, be sure to go over our Tips and Advice Page as well as our What is a Digital Wallet Page.

If you already know what a digital wallet is then read below and we'll show you how to set one up on an iOS Device.

Step 1
On your iOS device visit your app store and search for "Blockchain.info". Select the first option from the dropdown. Or you can click on This Link to go directly to the app.

Step 2:

Next, click on the app to go to the app home page. Then, click on 'Get' and install the application to your phone.

Step 3:

Once installed, open the app. Then, click on 'New Wallet'.

*Note: If you have already created a wallet using your computer you will want to select 'Existing Wallet'. To learn more about this visit this section.

Step 4:
After clicking on 'New Wallet' go ahead and enter your email address and create a password to create a new wallet. Once you have entered your information click on 'Create Wallet'. Once you have done this the app will ask you to create a 4 digit PIN.
Remember to use a password and a PIN that you will remember !

Step 5:
Once you have created your account the app will take you to the 'Home' screen. This screen will show you every transaction that you have done using the app as well as your Bitcoin balance in the digital wallet. This app will allow you to send Bitcoin to anyone in the world with a Bitcoin Address.

Finished - Next Steps:

Congrats! You have now created a digital wallet. Make sure to check your email for a verification email. There will be a link for you to click to verify your email with your new wallet.

Now that you have set up a wallet, you have the ability to send and receive Bitcoin from anyone in the world. To learn more on how to send bitcoin, receive bitcoin, import bitcoin, or how to back up your new wallet, click on the buttons below...

Note: We HIGHLY RECOMMEND backing up your wallet first. If for some reason you lose your phone without backing up your wallet you risk losing all the Bitcoin you have stored there.
